Email Sam Martel
Samuel grew up with his family working in the construction and roofing industries. When he moved to the Midwest in 1957 he was hired by Ruberoid Roofing Division (currently known as GAF) as a Salesman. In 1960 he took a position with the Lloyd A Fry Roofing Company (currently known as Owens Corning) as an Assistant Plant Manager at the Summit, Illinois plant. In 1963, Samuel began a small family run Roofing Company. Now, with more than 50 years later working alongside his two sons Sam L. and Stuart, he has seen how S&D evolved into a successful leader as a residential, multifamily and commercial roofing company while keeping with the traditions he put forth as a foundation with Hard Work, Dedication and Commitment to Excellence.

Sam has over 31 years of experience in the roofing and construction industry. After Sam received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Eastern Illinois he decided to follow in his dad's footsteps. He has been dedicated in continuing the tradition of S&D with the same high standard of commitment to service and quality of workmanship. Sam also continues to keep the company current with the latest in roofing technology, new products, systems, techniques and consumer needs. He has successfully passed one of the most difficult roofing licensing exams in the nation and is certified in the state of Florida. Sam believes in assisting you in understanding all that is involved in making the important decision when purchasing a roof system.
Email Stu Martel
Stu, like his brother, also decided to pursue a career in the industry he had learned so much about from his father. He currently has over 27 years of roofing experience. He started out as a roofer, then a foreman, then moved into sales, and now leads production and operations. His acquired knowledge of roofing has developed into a tremendous talent for overseeing all phases of multi-family, commercial, industrial and residential roofing construction. Stu is backed by strong credentials and has a proven history of on-time, on-budget and high quality project completions which allows S&D to deliver precisely the solutions that the customer needs.

Tom has over 25 years of experience in the Roofing industry. Tom's top priority is customer service. He has spent the last 18 years at S&D Enterprises and while there he has been mastering the art of roofing. Tom has become a NRCA CERTA Trainer in low slope roofing, a Firestone factory trained TPO installer, a Master shingle applicator, a certified lead Renovator, and has extensive training in ventilation. Tom is ready, willing, and eager to help you with your project.
Thomas has over 20 years of proven customer service management experience. Keeping in tradition with his cousins Sam and Stu he has chosen to utilize his expertise in the roofing industry. At an early age Thomas was taught his work ethic and the importance of strong customer relations from his uncle and founder of S&D, Samuel T Martel. Over the years Thomas has honed those skills to become a leader in the customer service industry. Thomas started with S&D as a laborer at a young age and successfully worked his way up to general manager at S&D's Florida branch. Thomas is now running the S&D division in the state of Wisconsin. It is through hard work, loyalty and dedication that Thomas is able to deliver projects on time, on budget and with great satisfaction to homeowners, board members and property managers time and time again.

They demonstrate outstanding customer service for Property Owners, Property Managers, Architects and Engineers.
